Alpine Rose is one of the most exclusive hand made cheeses in Switzerland. For over 700 years the Bach family has passed down the tradition to each new generation. Overlooking the prestigious Alpine village of Gstaad at 2000 Mts , the cheese is still made each morning over a wood built fire. Surrounded by Alpine roses, pure Red and White Simmental cows produce an exceptional organic milk . The herbs, and grasses akin to these high altitudes, give the cheese it's unique and special flavor. Our AOE certified cheese is 100% natural with no preservatives or additives, and is available for export in limited quantities.
